Co-Workers!

These are the 4 dental assistants that I work with at my dental office. =D When we order supplies for the office sometimes we get gift cards to restaurants or other goodies to eat...yummmyy... So on this particular day we went to Subway. Yum, I had the chicken, bacon, ranch with avacado and banana peppers...MmmmmmmmMM...ahahahaa.=)

Then we went back to the office and took one last picture before we had to head back to work.
The area behind us is what you see when you first walk into the office...it's a small place. =D

Do you see the little emblem on the legs and pockets of our scrubs? What is it?

Ahahaha we wear these scrubs right before each football game because my doctor is a HUGE HUGE diehard UT alumni/fan. He purchased these scrubs for us...and they were freaking expensive...shoooot man otherwise forget the longhorns...ahahahhaaa.... He is such a HUGE fan, that he is even going to miss part of the American Dental Association Conference on Saturday to come back for the Missouri/Texas game this Saturday....ahahahhaaa.=)

So anyways...these are the ladies that I work with for most of my week and these are the ladies that I will be going to the dental conference with on Friday. As well as with one other U of M alumni that used to be the hygienist there and also comes on Mondays to work in the office with us because she just loves the office too much to completely leave it.

So anyways, I am going to take my CE (continuing education) course credits at the Dental Conference that is being held in San Antonio from Friday-Sunday, but I am going for just Friday-Saturday because of church on Sunday. Whoohoooo...exciting!! =)

I feel professional...ahahahaa...=) I will be surrounded by dental professionals from all over the world...eeeEEEEEEEEeeeeEe =P.

The Academy Is...

Last Thursday, I took part in one of most unforgettable experiences of my life!!

Above is a picture of me with my friend Melina. She is an exchange student from Spain that I met on the UT campus a little while back. While I was getting to know her, she told me about this band and how she bought tickets for herself and she didnt know anyone who was going with her, so I decided to go.

This band plays alternative/rock music and I had no idea what to expect because I have never gone to a concert before.

So anyhow, to make a LONG LONG LON~nNNgG 7 hours short. I went to a concert and I stood in the 2nd-3rd row during the WHOLE concert. Now this is alternative music, so if you stand in the front row you get caught in a mosh pit. Do you know what that is?

Well, I have heard about it here and there throughout my life, but I had no idea that that was what I was about to experience. So for FOUR WHOLE Hours, I was being bumped, rubbed, elbowed, jumped on...and by the end of the night I was bruised, covered with my own sweat and the sweat of others, and tired from standing and trying to keep from being trampled on.

And no, this is not an exaggeration...above is a picture of me after 3 hours and unfortunately this picture does not fully capture the closeness of the people or my FULL JOY of being in that MOSH PIT!

Ahahahaa...so yes, this is what I recently took part in and the picture that I took was after 3 hours of being in a mosh pit and right before the last band came on to play.

Ahahahaa...right before the last band came on, I was seriously contemplating whether or not I should watch or listen from outside because I knew that I hadn't yet fully experienced the worst of the pushing, squeezing, sweating, screaming, and jumping...but then... tah dah!!....

Ahahahaa...this cute asian guy came out. =) He was HOT! =D Ahahahahaa...he was either the sound guy or the roadie. But either way...he brought 5 minutes of joy during those 4 hours of discomfort. =D So I decided to take a picture of him as he was testing the drums.

Ehehehee...
crack
myself
up...=P

But yes yes...last Thursday, I had one of the longest, more memorable days since I have arrived in Austin, so I wanted to share this memorable experience with you guys. I saw Hey Monday, Something?? Liars, We Three Kings, and the Academy Is.

From the funny, the hard times, to even my fickle moment with the guy that I thought was really cute!! Ahahahahaa....

Enjoy!! =D

Girl Fun!! =D

My roommates and I get together once a week to pray and share about our lives, struggles, and joys. But this particular week we decided to share over a meal at Korea Garden.

In Austin, we have yet to find a Korean restaurant that is delicious, but this one wasn't too far from home and it was decent. =D

So anyhow, afterwards, I wanted to take pictures together...ahahaha... so we went to our rooftop and took pictures by the fountain. =D The rooftop of our place is gorgeous, we have a small grill, an area for sun bathing, a wide flat screen tv, and you can also see the Austin skyline!! =D Yaya you wanna visit us eh? Anytime...ANY TIME!

Ahahahaha.... well time for me to eat dinner AND get ready for a night out on the UT campus to watch a show by the UT students called China Night 2008. =D

Hope you guys are having a wonderful week!!!! =D
